Are Your Kisses Paraben Free?

Have you ever heard the saying, “you eat your lipstick throughout the day?”  Well, it’s true.  And over a lifetime, estimates total up to about four pounds.

Lip products have been blamed for transmitting all sorts of awful chemicals into the body including: lead, parabens, petro chemicals (chemicals derived from petroleum) and phthalates.  According to the EWG: The Environmental Protection Agency states that all parabens — methyl, propyl, butyl — have been proved to interfere with the function of the endocrine system, and these endocrine disruptors are stored in our body’s fatty tissues . . .contributing to reproductive and developmental disorders, learning problems and immune system dysfunction in children.

So why eat awful, harmful parabens?  Especially when you can coat your lips in smackable, kissable, completely scrumptious: lime rocket, sweet orange, creamy cocoa, cool mint, mocha cocoa or creamy cocoa.  W.
